It is the mission of the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education (OAAE) to ensure that the arts are an integral part of the education of every Ohioan. A statewide arts education service organization and nationally recognized leader in arts education, OAAE works to include arts learning in Ohio as part of a comprehensive preK-12 curriculum, to utilize the arts to improve student achievement, and to develop strong advocates who can speak about the importance of arts education.

The Ohio Music Education Association believes that all students should have equal access to high quality music instruction delivered by licensed music teachers through comprehensive school music programs in general, instrumental, and choral music education.
OMEA advocates for comprehensive music programs in general, instrumental, and vocal music education; state and national music standards with assessments to ensure that students meet high academic expectations; and licenses music teachers with adequate instructional time and appropriate facilities and materials for music programs.

The Ohio Foundation for Music Education (OFME) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to strengthening and sustaining high-quality music education for all students in Ohio. Our mission is to provide financial support, build strategic partnerships, and remove barriers so that every child—regardless of background or circumstance—has access to meaningful music learning experiences. Through grants, advocacy, and philanthropic investment, the Foundation works to ensure that music education continues to enrich students, schools, and communities across our state.

The Ohio Arts Council (OAC) is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically. Its mission is to champion the arts by providing grant funding, resources, and leadership that expand access to creative expression, preserve cultural heritage, and enrich the lives of residents across the state. Through strategic investment in artists, arts organizations, and arts education, the OAC works to ensure that the arts are a vibrant, accessible, and integral part of Ohio’s civic life.
