About Music Matters Ohio

Music Matters Ohio is a statewide initiative dedicated to expanding access to music education by placing new and gently used musical instruments into the hands of Ohio students—through their teachers and schools. Across Ohio, countless instruments sit unused in closets, basements, and attics, while students with the desire to learn music lack the means to participate. Music Matters Ohio bridges this gap by mobilizing community generosity, professional refurbishment, and coordinated distribution to schools.
